You don't have to have a mental health problem, to benefit from Personal Therapy

Welcome to my website...

With nearly twenty years experience as a Personal Psychotherapist, around Ten years Tutoring and Lecturing in Psychotherapy & Counselling to level 5 for the largest training organisation in the UK and with additional roles as Class Observer, Hypnotherapy Tutor, Final Study of Skills assignment Marker and Late Assignment Marker, my home-based therapy practice is now intentionally limited.

I now offer a few spaces for sessions especially for those who are experiencing current or recent-life issues and difficulties, rather than long-standing or complex historical difficulties that I may have worked with previously.

This doesn't mean you should not have past traumas, losses, difficulties or difficult experiences before seeking therapy with me, it means that your normal coping mechanisms that have worked until now, have come up against something recently that you cannot seem to sort through.

Take a look around to see if I might be the right therapist for you.

Women's Stress Consultancy

With a focus on stress reduction, I provide a space for women to explore their lives, thoughts, emotions, relationships, and the personal changes they are experiencing.

Women face unique stressors and while Stress Consultancy is still personal psychotherapy, seeking support doesn’t always mean there’s a "mental health problem."  Seeking support when we recognize that stress is having an effect is a healthy thing to do and I specialize in working with women to prevent stress or reduce stress before stress, unhappiness or a sense of un-fulfillment cause a mental health and well-being issue.

Stress can show it's effect through anxiety, low mood, relationship issues, overwhelm, an inability to concentrate and thrive.  As women move through different life stages, they may encounter new needs, unexpected changes, and shifts in their relationships.

Professional Training

I have been tutoring and lecturing for Chrysalis Courses since 2016. I am deeply passionate about teaching counselling, psychotherapy and hypnotherapy and draw upon my extensive clinical experience as a practicing psychotherapist. I am particularly committed to helping students engage in reflective practice and develop both personally and professionally.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is helping trainees bridge the gap between theory and practice, grow in confidence, and cultivate a strong, authentic therapeutic identity.

I guide and support adult students and practitioners at all stages of their professional journey, helping them achieve the King’s Trust Level 5 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling Practice (RQF Level 5)—a three-year course equivalent to a foundation degree.

Study methods include in-person practical classroom work, practice groups, homework assignments, the Chrysalis Virtual Learning Environment, reflective journaling, and a formally supervised placement in the final year.
