Loss, Grief, Bereavement and unwanted Change

Loss can take many forms—and it doesn't always look the way we expect. While the death of a loved one is often the most recognised kind of grief, we can also experience deep loss through the end of a relationship, the breakdown of a family, losing a job, changes to our health, infertility, miscarriage, or the fading of a future we’d hoped for.

Even when a loss isn’t visible to others, its impact can be profound. You might feel sadness, numbness, anger, guilt—or nothing at all. Grief can be unpredictable and doesn’t follow a set timeline. You may be struggling to understand what you're feeling, or feel out of step with the world around you.

Therapy can provide a gentle, non-judgmental space to explore your experience of loss—whatever form it takes. It can be a place to speak freely, process what’s happened, and slowly begin to adjust to a changed reality, in your own time and your own way.
