Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
"Dialectical" means bringing together opposite ideas — the belief that two seemingly contradictory things can both be true at the same time, and that real change often comes from finding a balanced path between them.

Although DBT is often used to support Borderline Personality, Self-Harm, PTSD, Addiction and Eating Disorders it is also used for Anxiety, depression and Stress.

This form of therapy is designed to help people manage emotions, cope with stress and improve relationships. It combines strategies for accepting yourself as you are with tools to create positive change in your life.
DBT teaches skills like mindfulness, emotional regulation, and effective communication, making it especially helpful for those struggling with overwhelming feelings or challenging life situations.

Please note I am currently not working with Borderline Personalities and do not work with self-harm, addiction or eating disorders in my private practice.
