I have been tutoring and lecturing in counselling and psychotherapy for Chrysalis Courses since 2016.

I guide and support adult students and practitioners at all stages of their professional journey, helping them achieve the King’s Trust Level 5 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling Practice (RQF Level 5)—a three-year course equivalent to a foundation degree.

​

Study methods include in-person practical classroom work, practice groups, homework assignments, the Chrysalis Virtual Learning Environment, reflective journaling, and a formally supervised placement in the final year.

I am deeply passionate about teaching counselling, psychotherapy and hypnotherapy and draw upon my extensive clinical experience as a practicing psychotherapist. I am particularly committed to helping students engage in reflective practice and develop both personally and professionally.

 

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is helping trainees bridge the gap between theory and practice, grow in confidence, and cultivate a strong, authentic therapeutic identity.

(Chrysalis also offers a Level 6 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, equivalent to an undergraduate bachelor’s degree.)
