Resolving Past Issues
Sometimes there comes a time in life when it is time to resolve past issues. For some people, the past has started to cause issues in the here and now and have not seem bothersome until now, for others something has happened to mean that it becomes a priority to seek professional help to explore the past experiences to see how they can be worked through and integrated so that you can get on with your life, free from bothersome disturbances.

Some past issues people have explored in therapy with me include childhood or earlier adult experiences involving;

Relationships
Difficult relationships with parents
Sibling Relationships
Previous Toxic Intimate Relationship
Previous Toxic Friend Relationship

Trauma
Complex or traumatic bereavement
Road traffic Accidents
Medical Experiences
Past sexual assault or abuse

Workplace
Bullying
Loss of employment

Childhood
Difficult School Experiences
Inadequate parenting

Guilt about something in their past

In therapy, you would be in a space that facilitates an environment that draws interventions from a wide range of therapeutic approaches.

The time it takes for you to feel that your issue is integrated and more comfortable depends upon each person and each issue. For some it can take 2-3 sessions and for others up to 2 years.
