Issues I work with

If you are struggling with what is going on or has happened in life or how you feel, then counselling can help you gain clarity, self understanding and develop self empowerment.  It is a space to work through difficulties, review the past and gain insight into your inner self and relationships.

I work with a wide variety of people from all kinds of backgrounds who seek support with their psychological and emotional health and wellbeing when it is likely based around relationships and stress.

I can provide a therapeutic environment within which together, we can explore what is happening, what is going on for you and what can make a difference to that.

The goal is to feel better and improve relationships and other life areas.

I welcome individuals wishing to work on:

Please note, I do not work with those diagnosed with, or have children under 18 diagnosed with the following conditions:

  • Eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia or ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder)

  • Self-Harm (involving physical injury)

  • Alcohol or Drug Dependency

  • Gender Identity Issues

There are Counsellors, therapists and specialist organisations or NHS linked Services who should be able to support you if any of these issues are a large part of your stress or concerns.

Please note that I would also not be the best Counsellor for you if you have:

  • Fibromyalgia (FMS)

  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME)

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

Note: I do not work with Couples in Counselling, the counselling I provide around relationships is for individuals.
